Manager behavior that influences the organization

  • Posted on August 16, 2009 at 10:10 am

A manager directly influences the behavior of his subordinates in a work of group. As such, it is essential that the commitment to the attainment of the group goals comes from him. However many managers get so excited about their new social status as provided for by their managerial position. Thus, they forget to provide their people enough challenges and opportunities to enable them to pursue their personal interest with the organizations. Essentially, this requires improvement in the promotion and selection process in the organization. In short, there should be a strict adherence to the organizations merit and promotion plan.

It is obvious that the situation requires a manager to spend more time looking forward than they do before, There will not be time enough to do all he would like to do. First he does what he has to do and then selects what he would like to do most of all. Basically, his actions should not only be legal but also be moral.

Organization Behavior

  • Posted on August 16, 2009 at 9:16 am

The organization helps change the lives of individuals. Some crucial changes in the way of life of individuals take place in an organization. This essential reality is observed in an organizational behavior, interpersonal relations, and group dynamics. Such reality of changes in human behavior differs profoundly from one another, so profoundly that no manager in the organization really succeeds in the making people change their minds to reverse decisions. They have to accept managerial decisions.

Contradictions may be found in any complex organization, especially in a situation where individual freedom exists. This makes criticism a difficult and delicate undertaking in management, where an individual may be an effective manager and still be un aware of his personal attitudes.

Individual in an organization

Unfortunately, some people too selfish for the most part to contribute their share to the attainment of group goals because their feelings of uncertainly have been awakened, not only by the individuals but also by the organization. Hence, many managers are losing some of their influence over their subordinates, posing problems in controlling the nd results of the organizational undertaking. This is not, however, a reason for refusing to face the problem.

Effective organizations require the mutual cooperation of their people who share the same interests with the management of the organizations.

This is the case that requires exceptional aptitude and managerial will and understanding of the deep-rooted human behavior in organizations.

Importantly, it demands the creation of an organizational climate hospitable to development and growth of individuals within the structured organization. integrating the individuals goals with the group goals is an option a manager should consider regarding this matter.

rest

  • Posted on August 11, 2009 at 11:40 pm

There are times during the day when you need to rest. Rest is a short period of relaxation that the body needs after a tiring activity. It relieves the body and the mind of the feeling of tiredness.

You get tired when you work hard because the oxygen and food that give energy to your body are being used up. Thus, your body needs to slow down so that it can regain the energy it lost. The amount of the time needed for you to rest depends on how much energy you spent on a particular activity. At school you are given a few minutes to rest during recess. A the office you are allowed for a coffee break. At home, you can rest simply sitting down or lying around. You can also watch television, listen to music, read a book or even sleep.

Sleep is an important form of rest. It prepares your body for the coming day. Your body also repairs itself when you are asleep. Lack of sleep can affect yous growth as well as your immune system which keeps you from getting sick

After a tiring day reward yourself with some rest and have time to sleep. Just make sure you balance your time for work and time to relax.

Keeping your Computer Healthy

  • Posted on August 11, 2009 at 11:38 pm

Keeping a computer healthy is possible. Computers should be kept and used in a room with just the right temperature and where air can freely circulate. They should be also kept clean. However these are not enough. Computers should also undergo periodic diagnostic test.

There are generally three ways to do this:

1. checking the hard disk for errors;
2. running the disk clean up program; and
3. defragging the hard disk.

Checking the hard disk for errors allow the operating system to automatically fix system errors. It also scans for and attempts to recover bad sectors. Bad sectors are segments of disk storage that can’t be read or written to because of a physical problem in the disk.

Another way keeping your computer healthy is using the operating system’s disk clean up facility. This allows you to free more disk space by removing optional programs that you do not use. It also frees the recycle bin of files that you have deleted.

Lastly, a typical computer user often saves and erases files on the hard disks. As this is done over time, fragmentation happens. It occurs when the operating system can not or will not allocate enough adjoining space to store a complete file, and instead puts parts of it in gaps between other files.

De fragmentation (or def ragging) physically the contents of the disk in order to store the pieces of each file close together and in order. It also attempts to create large regions of free space to prevent the return of fragmentation. Defragmentation helps to restore a drive to its original speed.

Now as a user of our personal computer it is our responsibility to maintain the health of our personal computers. Being the user of this we are not the beneficiaries we are also the responsible for the maintenance of our computers.

Tooth Hurts

  • Posted on August 10, 2009 at 11:36 pm

When a tooth starts to decay or break down, cavity develops. A cavity is a hole in a tooth that can grow bigger and deeper over time if not taken care of immediately.

Tooth decay can happen to all people but is more common in children who love to eat sweets. But the good news is it can be prevented. Tooth decays are caused by plaque-a sticky, slimy substance made up mostly of bacteria. When the teeth are often exposed to foods containing starches and sugars like soft drinks, candies, cakes, and even sticky fruits, plaque develops.

The bacteria in plaque reacts with food deposits on the teeth and produce acid which slowly dissolves the teeth’s outermost layer. If nothing is done, the cavity can reach the inside of the teeth where nerve endings are found. And ouch, it really hurts!

Tooth decay can be prevented by:

* brushing the teeth with a fluoride toothpaste after eating or at least twice a day( don’t forget to brush the teeth before going to bed!)
* flossing the teeth once a day
* avoiding sweet and sugary foods and drinks; and
* visiting a dentist twice a year for regular check ups.

As mother we don’t want our children to suffer toothaches it’s hard for a mother when her child gets sick. We can prevent them from toothache we can be the example showing them what they must eat and not eat and what to do after eating how to brush their teeth proper. With these things being done we can help our children suffer from toothaches.
